At Home in Alexandria (AHA) seeks a Co-Operations Manager

At present, this is a job-share position requiring 8-15 hours weekly of in-person work on Thursday and Fridays of each week plus alternating Wednesdays. A few additional hours may be needed but can be done remotely. Base hours are 10am-2pm. Enjoy a pleasant, sunny, informal office environment in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria. Free parking is provided.


This position is paid hourly at a rate of $20/hour with FICA withholdings. (No paid leave is included.)

Most important qualifications include:
 the ability to provide friendly and patient phone, email and in-person interaction with older citizens
 a sincere appreciation for our seniors
 strong organizational skills
 proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly with Excel and Word, and with other computer programs that include two databases and an email automation program.
 strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
Specific duties include (but are not limited to):
 Taking phone and email requests from members and coordinating volunteers to fulfill the requests
 Overseeing mailings or mail merges for individual member renewals and contributions
 Overseeing newsletter, calendar and occasional invitation printing processes, interfacing with AHA’s print vendor
 Processing payments, creating check requests, and creating tracking reports

DIRECTOR, CLINICAL SERVICES - HOME HEALTH CARE

RN Director of Clinical Services needed for new Kaiser home health care program within industry leading Skilled Home Health Agency in Northern Virginia. The Director is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and managing resources. These responsibilities include: efficient/effective resource utilization; recruitment and effective/efficient management of assigned staff; achieving quality outcomes; performance improvement; monitoring of quality and quantity of services; maintaining positive working relationships with staff and purchasing and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications:
• Current and applicable RN Nursing License for the State of Virginia
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Appropriate use of delegation skills
• Computer skills
• Ability to work independently
• A minimum of five years of work experience as a RN, at least three years of which must be in a home health setting providing Kaiser reimbursed skilled services
• Experience with home infusion or behavioral health services preferred but not required
